Advancing Full-Arch Rehabilitation Through Guided Surgery and Digital Workflows: Highlights from the All-in-One NeoArch Course

Two Days of Intensive Learning in Implant Dentistry at Prodent June 4-5, 2026.

We recently welcomed dental professionals from across Lebanon for an immersive educational program focused on immediate full-arch rehabilitation, guided surgery, digital workflows, and restorative excellence.

The All-in-One NeoArch Course, led by renowned implantologist Dr. Maxim Baini, brought together clinicians eager to enhance their understanding of modern implant dentistry through a combination of lectures, clinical discussions, and hands-on training.

Designed to provide a comprehensive approach to full-arch treatment, the program explored every stage of the workflow—from diagnosis and treatment planning to surgery, temporization, and final restoration.

Day 1: Building the Foundation for Predictable Surgical Outcomes

The first day began with an insightful session on guided surgery presented by Dr. Loulwa Mourad, who shared practical concepts and clinical considerations for achieving greater precision and predictability in implant placement.

Participants then joined Dr. Maxim Baini for an in-depth discussion on treatment planning, decision-making, and free-hand surgical techniques. Drawing on years of clinical experience, Dr. Baini highlighted the factors that influence successful full-arch rehabilitation, including implant positioning, bone quality, implant angulation, and prosthetic considerations.

The afternoon focused on guided full-arch workflows, where attendees explored digital planning protocols and surgical execution strategies designed to optimize treatment outcomes and reduce clinical complications.

Throughout the day, the speakers and participants engaged in dynamic discussions, exchanging clinical experiences, treatment approaches, and practical insights. The richness of the scientific content and the high level of interaction extended the sessions beyond the planned schedule. As a result, the hands-on guided surgery component was postponed to the following day, allowing participants to fully benefit from the educational discussions while preserving the quality of the practical training.

Day 2: From Prosthetic Planning to Immediate Temporization

The second day shifted the focus toward restorative excellence and digital integration.

Dr. Francisco Silva delivered an engaging lecture on facial analysis for prosthetic decision-making, emphasizing the importance of aesthetics, function, and patient-centered treatment planning in full-arch rehabilitation.

Participants were then introduced to the scientific principles behind ioConnect by Dr. Cindy Merkbawi, who highlighted the role of evidence-based digital workflows in modern implant treatment.

Continuing the digital dentistry theme, Dr. Maxim Baini demonstrated the capabilities of CoDiagnostix® and SmileCloud, showcasing how digital planning tools can improve communication, treatment predictability, and workflow efficiency.

The day also featured the highly anticipated hands-on guided surgery session, led by Dr. Loulwa Mourad and Dr. Francisco Silva. Participants had the opportunity to apply the concepts discussed during the lectures, gaining practical experience in guided implant placement and reinforcing the principles of predictable full-arch rehabilitation.

The afternoon sessions featured Dr. Joseph Alwan, who discussed key considerations for permanent restorations, material selection, and long-term treatment success. Attendees then participated in a practical session on immediate temporization, led jointly by Dr. Alwan and Dr. Baini, allowing clinicians to translate theoretical knowledge into clinical application.

A Collaborative Learning Experience

Beyond the educational content, the course fostered meaningful discussions among participants and speakers, creating an environment where clinical experiences, challenges, and best practices could be openly shared.

From guided surgery and digital treatment planning to prosthetic decision-making and restorative workflows, every session encouraged active participation and knowledge exchange. The engagement demonstrated throughout the program reflected the commitment of the dental community to continuous education and clinical excellence.
